North Springs Veterinary Referral Center, a privately owned 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate doctor with a passion for emergency and critical care who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
At North Springs, our ER doctors are the heart of the hospital. You will be a vital part of a cohesive team, practicing the highest standard of medicine with the direct support of our in-house specialists. This is a unique opportunity to manage a diverse and engaging emergency caseload with the confidence that board-certified colleagues in Surgery, Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Radiology, and Cardiology are just steps away for consultation and seamless case transfers.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume and dynamic emergency caseload, from initial triage and stabilization to diagnosis, treatment, and case management.
Perform a wide range of emergency medical and surgical procedures.
Collaborate directly with our specialists, ensuring integrated patient care and continuity.
Communicate with empathy and clarity to clients during stressful situations.
Work alongside and mentor our highly skilled team of technicians and support staff.
Practice Confident Medicine in a State-of-the-Art Hospital:
A fully equipped and staffed ICU.
In-house 64-slice CT, C-arm fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, and digital radiography.
Complete in-house laboratory for rapid diagnostics.
Advanced anesthetic monitoring and surgical equipment.
