- Mixed Animal Ambulatory Veterinarian
Description
Are you a Mixed Animal Veterinarian looking for a role that combines the freedom of the open road with the support of a thriving, collaborative practice?
At Catskill Veterinary Services, our mission, “Life-Changing to Life-Saving Veterinary Care. We Do More,” isn't just a tagline—it's the foundation of our culture. We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to help expand our growing ambulatory service, providing high-quality care to a diverse range of species across the beautiful Hudson Valley.
About the Role
This position is perfect for a DVM who thrives on autonomy, variety, and building strong client relationships. You will provide high-quality mobile care for both large and small animals across Sullivan, Orange, Ulster, Pike, and Wayne counties. You will have the independence to practice your best medicine with a fully-stocked vehicle and portable diagnostic tools, all while having the full backing of our three-hospital network and access to advanced diagnostics like CT, endoscopy, and ultrasound when needed.
Our Culture: Why We’re a Great Place to Work
We believe that providing exceptional care for animals begins with supporting the people who dedicate their lives to them. Our culture is built on:
Collaborative & Supportive Teamwork: While you work independently in the field, you are never alone. Our three-hospital network functions as one cohesive team. We foster an environment of open communication where case collaboration is encouraged and celebrated.
A Real Commitment to Well-Being: We recognize the demands of the veterinary profession. We protect your personal time with a 4-day workweek, flexible scheduling options, and a culture that actively works to prevent burnout.
Investment in Your Growth: We are a teaching and learning practice. We invest heavily in your professional development through dedicated mentorship, a generous CE allowance with paid time off to learn, and access to modern technology.
A Passion for Excellence: Join a team that is proud to practice high-quality, progressive medicine. We empower our veterinarians with the autonomy and trust to provide life-changing care and build lasting relationships with clients.
