Northern Paws Animal Hospital, a CareVet partner,has an awesome opportunity to join ourthriving practice in Rhinelander, WI! This position offers a six figure salary plus production, up to $250k value bonus retention package, paid family leave, and schedule flexibility.
About the Position
Northern Paws Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate Veterinarian to help grow our thriving practice! We currently do not have a veterinarian dedicated to an exotic case load, but there is a significant need in the area. We would welcome a team member with this skill set, but it is not a requirement. All levels of experience will be considered, but the ideal candidate will be friendly, personable and a team player. New Grads have an opportunity to receive mentorship and student loan support.

Requirements
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
