Dothan Animal Hospital is excited to add you as an Associate Veterinarian! Our team located in Dothan, Alabama prides themselves on their collaborative culture that integrates a variety of medical and surgical cases (growth removal, orthopedic, spays, neuters, cosmetic, and more!), while supporting you in your professional aspirations. This position would be a great opportunity for all experience levels.

Background and Experience:
- Collaborate with our 3 DVMs and talented support team
- Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Build and uphold existing relationships with the local community
- Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities
- Ability to communicate with clients 1-on-1 in a friendly and personalized manner
- Comfortability and/or experience with exotic medicine is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.

Dothan Animal Hospital takes great pride in our history and roots in the local community as the oldest continuously operating animal hospital in Dothan, Alabama. That doesn’t mean we are 'old school' though! We keep up-to-date with hospital renovations, technology, and medical advancements. We have a dedicated surgery suite, cold/therapy laser, digital radiographs, in-house IDEXX labs, and operate on the Cornerstone platform. We love to treat patients of all kinds including cats (we're feline friendly!), dogs, and exotics (avian and pocket pets). Our doctors enjoy giving back to the community and are active in organized veterinary medicine, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association and local veterinary medical associations, in addition to other leadership positions within our community.
