Well established, growing small animal clinic, in Paducah KY, is looking for an associate veterinarian. We have recently moved into a newly designed 7,000 sq. ft. building. We are the only walk-in clinic in the area. We are a fast-paced clinic but always strive to have fun with our clients, patients and each other. We have a full lab with the latest Idexx in-house diagnostic equipment. We also have Idexx digital radiography, Sonosite ultrasound, Companion Therapy Laser and Companion PRP Unit. We will have Midmark dental radiography and a new IM3 Dental unit by the end of 2020.
We currently employee 6 veterinarians. Our support staff includes 6 licensed veterinary technicians, one office manager and numerous veterinary assistants and receptionists.
We are open Monday through Friday (7:30am-5:00pm) and Saturday (8:00am - 12:00pm). We do offer after hour emergency care for our clients. After hour duties are divided between the staff veterinarians. Our fast-paced walk-in clinic requires employees to be flexible and well organized while providing excellent patient care and customer service skills. We perform several surgeries and dental procedures on a daily basis. Our licensed veterinary technicians oversee anesthesia induction and monitoring. They also perform dentals, take radiographs, collect patient samples and operate the in-house lab equipment, thus allowing the veterinarians to concentrate on their patients, both in the exam room and in surgery.
Applicants should have excellent people skills and work well with a team. Compensation is based on experience. Benefits include CE expenses, licensing, professional association dues, PLIT insurance, paid holidays, 401K, weekend on call stipend, and paid vacation.
