| We have a unique opportunity for a full or part-time small or mixed animal veterinarian in the Central Sierra foothills. Mono Way Veterinary Hospital is a thriving three doctor AAHA accredited practice with 80/20 small animal/large animal ratio. We utilize our support staff to the fullest to allow doctors to concentrate on the medical care of our patients. Our support staff consists of 4 RVTs plus 9 veterinary assistants, 3 kennel attendants, and 6 receptionists. Our facility includes digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, in-house full IDEXX lab, and Antech reference lab. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to establish strong client relationships while working well with our experienced and diverse staff. He/she will be interested in surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine, and may have some large animal experience, although that is not required. We offer excellent competitive compensation based on experience, plus health insurance, a 401k retirement plan, generous CE, vacation time, state licensing, and relocation bonus. Schedule includes some on-call weekends and evenings with rotational 3-day weekends off. New grads are welcome.
