We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team as a Regional Support Veterinarian! This is a full-time, salary OR daily rate, position (3.5-5 days per week, on average) and requires weekly travel to our practice locations in your regional area. The Regional Support Veterinarian works as a corporate veterinarian in our practices, seeing appointments, performing surgeries, and helping to mentor our team of veterinarians. This position is part of our Corporate Medical Operations team and reports to our Vice President of Medicine.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can adapt to a multitude of practice environments and work with a wide variety of teams. This person should have a strong level of empathy and should be able to modify their approach and treatment plan according to the unique needs of each hospital’s team and clientele. A positive outlook (glass half full mentality!), a desire to help others, and strong sense of resiliency/adaptability are traits that would lend themselves to success in this role. Prior leadership or mentorship experience also preferred.
