The Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center is looking for an associate to join our field service team.

Located in central New Jersey horse country midway between New York City and Philadelphia.  We pride ourselves on offering a blend of quality service and diagnostics in the field with exceptional intensive care and state of the art diagnostic imaging in hospital. Being a part of a referral hospital facilitates mentorship, case discussion and case follow-up.  A large intern class allows you to be a mentor, sharing your knowledge and expertise with new veterinarians.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who values teamwork and communication. Our practice has an expanding general ambulatory and emergency caseload with ample opportunity to pursue/explore specific professional interests. Our ambulatory veterinarians service all facets of the equine industry, including Thoroughbred and Standardbred breeding stock, performance sport horses and pleasure horses. Field service vehicles are well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, shockwave and endoscopy equipment, and operate as an extension of our 24-hour medical and surgery referral center. 

Call will be equally shared among three practitioners with a 4-day work week. An intern (one of seven who rotate every 2 weeks) and/or a technician will be present during regular business hours to assist with appointments. After hours, the field service intern is on call to participate in emergencies.

Our compensation package includes: Salary commensurate with experience plus production and emergency bonus structure, health insurance stipend, liability insurance, 401K, CE compensation, licensing fees and AAEP/AVMA membership.
