Columbia Veterinary Hospital has been proudly serving The Dalles, Oregon area, since 2012. Located on the Columbia River, our practice is surrounded by a river, gorgeous views and a paved 10-mile walking path. The high desert is to the east with the cascade mountains to the west. We are located in a private, serene area which contributes to a peaceful working environment; however, we are still a quick drive to local amenities. The Dalles, Oregon is located on the north bank of the Columbia River. The city is a strategic home base for year-round recreation. Water sport enthusiasts will find boating, excellent fishing, and one of the finest wind surfing and white-water kayaking areas in the United States. Local brew pubs, wineries and entertainment abound. To the east are substantial opportunities to camp, fish, hike, and sight see. To the west, ski enthusiasts can challenge the ski slopes of magnificent Mt. Hood; and there are numerous resorts that lie on Mt. Hood and its base. The Pacific coast is just a couple hours drive. Nearby Portland, Oregon is a great place to explore with amazing food, breweries, music, outdoor activities, galleries and museums, parks, sports and more!
