Our services include comprehensive ophthalmology, urgent, and emergency care, ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of our patients. Our facility is equipped with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in-house laboratory services, enabling our clinicians to provide prompt and effective care.
While we work toward our goal of 24/7 operations, our current hours of service are:
M-F: 2pm -12am
Sat/Sun: 8am-8pm
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated individual to join and lead our team as a Medical Director, in partnership with the Hospital Manager, EVH Medical Leadership, EVH Field Leadership, and EVH Support Center teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Leadership and Guidance: Proven ability to lead and guide a veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional medical care.
- Positive Work Environment: Commitment to fostering a positive, professional, and supportive work atmosphere for all staff members.
- Medical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of veterinary emergency medicine and a passion for staying current with the latest advancements in the field.
- Protocol Development: Experience in overseeing the development and implementation of medical protocols and procedures.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the hospital director in driving operational excellence and achieving hospital goals.
- Commitment to Education: Dedication to developing and participating in Emergency Veterinarian mentorship program.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ability to ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will embrace:
- Leadership Opportunities: The chance to shape the medical direction of the hospital, mentor and develop our veterinary team, and lead innovative projects to advance veterinary care. This role is typically approximately 75% clinical and 25% administrative.
