Isthmus Veterinary Care is a busy, family-owned small animal clinic looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian to help grow our practice.

We are fully equipped with a digital radiography system, ultrasound, and in-house blood and urine analyzers. We also utilize specialists who come to our practice for orthopedic and endoscopic surgeries along with in-depth ultrasounds and echocardiograms. We have a skilled veterinarian on staff who is willing to mentor motivated new hires in surgical techniques and procedures. Our schedule is typically 25% surgical/dental and 75% routine preventative health and sick patient exams. Full-time doctors generally work four days per week and every third Saturday. No on-call.

Preference will be given to an experienced practitioner comfortable with both surgical and medical case management. We are hoping to fill a full-time position but are open to part-time candidates as well. Our clinic is next door to beautiful Tenney Park and only a 5 minute drive to downtown Madison where you will find a world-class university, theaters, museums, and countless restaurants.
