Bernalillo Pet Care Center is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our thriving, collaborative, and well-established small animal practice in Bernalillo, New Mexico. We are currently offering an outstanding $50,000 sign-on and relocation package for a full-time veterinarian, along with a first-year housing stipend for doctors relocating to the area.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Veterinarian at Bernalillo Pet Care Center, you'll work alongside a team of five experienced veterinarians and highly skilled support staff to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care.

Responsibilities include:

• Small animal wellness and preventive care
• Medical diagnostics and case management
• Soft tissue surgery
• Dentistry and oral health procedures
• Client education and communication
• Collaboration with a supportive, team-oriented veterinary staff

We are particularly interested in veterinarians who can provide Friday coverage and take over two surgery days per week, performing approximately 2-5 surgeries daily while seeing appointments on additional scheduled days.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New Mexico
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong surgical skills highly desired
• Orthopedic surgery experience is a plus but not required
• Passion for high-quality patient care and client service
• Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
